When you have questions, it’s important to know whom to call.

General Information
If you’re a BlueCare® HMO or BlueCare POS member, call the BlueCare Service Representatives at 1-800-822-8753, weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Hearing and/or speech impaired members can call (TTY) 1-800-413-1112. By listening carefully to the available options, you can make the appropriate selections to receive the quickest response from our team of representatives.

If you subscribe to the BlueCare Traditional health care coverage program, please call BlueCare Service Representatives at 1-800-829-8599, weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. 
(TTY) 1-866-280-0486.

Those enrolled in BlueCare QHD PPO or BlueCare PPO, BlueCare Comprehensive can call
1-888-338-2211 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Knowledgeable service representatives can help when you need information on your coverage. (TTY) at 1-866-280-0486.

Employer Information
If you’re an employer and have questions about your group coverage, you can always call your sales executive. He or she can discuss with you your options for health care coverage and explain how to go about making changes or obtaining new coverage. If you’re not currently a customer but would like more information on Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s health care plans, you can call our regional sales offices at:

Billing Questions
We have a toll-free phone number dedicated to group benefits administrators. Call
1-877-292-0714 for direct access to the department responsible for your group’s bill. Representatives are available to answer your questions about monthly billing discrepancies, amounts in arrears or to clarify charges due to retroactive enrollments or changes.

Benefits vary depending on your specific coverage. These phone numbers may not apply for all groups. Read your contract carefully to determine which health care benefits are covered.

Insurance Fraud is a Serious Crime
