Medicare provides coverage to eligible individuals for most of their health care needs. But, Medicare does not pay for everything. To help fill "the gaps" in what Medicare pays, Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania and Highmark Blue Shield have developed BlueCare Security, a Medicare supplemental policy.

Adult Pennsylvanians

First Priority Health

The program, administered by the Pennsylvania Insurance Department, provides health care coverage at one low monthly premium for adults ages 19 through 64 who do not have health insurance and who are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare. With an emphasis on preventive care, adultBasic is available through First Priority Health.
