March 12, 2012, Wilkes-Barre, PA – On March 7, Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania and Susquehanna Health hosted a free health education event on headaches and migraines at The LifeCenter in the Lycoming Mall.  More than 30 men and women of all ages participated in the event, which was part of Susquehanna Health's Spirit of Women program.

Susquehanna Health’s neurologist Dr. Stuart Olinsky discussed the causes, treatment and management of headaches and migraines.  Physical Therapist Dave Johnson discussed headaches caused by poor posture, neck strain, neck sprains and faulty movement patterns.

In 2007, Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania joined forces with Susquehanna Health to collaborate on community health outreach and early intervention programs in and around Lycoming County. The two organizations have jointly committed their resources to The LifeCenter at the Lycoming Mall, which first opened in 1992 to make health improvement and prevention services conveniently accessible to large numbers of people in a community setting.
