Wilkes-Barre, PA. – Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BCNEPA) and Susquehanna Health recently hosted a free Back to School Screening Day at The LifeCenter in the Lycoming Mall to help local children and their parents and caregivers prepare for a healthy school year.
More than 50 families attended the event, which featured Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments, height and weight measurements, and vision, hearing and spinal screenings for children. Participants also received helpful tips on food safety, sports safety and healthy lunches, as well as free child identification DNA test kits.
