- January 2014 Specialty Drugs and Pharmacies
ESI is in the process of combining their two specialty pharmacies, CuraScript and Accredo and reorganizing them under the name Accredo. Our members currently using CuraScript specialty pharmacy will be transitioned to Accredo starting January 1, 2014. Members currently using CuraScript will be notified of this change through patient letters, automated outbound phone calls and patient care advocate calls from ESI. This Specialty Pharmacy listing will be valid as of January 1, 2014.
- Drugs Needing Prior Authorization
You may need to get prior authorization, or approval, for certain drugs to be covered by your plan. You can print a prior authorization form from this website or from your doctor or the Express Scripts Customer Service Call Center. Your doctor can fill out the form and send it to us by fax or electronically.
